Hi! I am Brittany!

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor and the Owner/ Senior Therapist at Sharp Wellness. I also like to describe myself as a personal guide through life’s ups and downs, transitions, and hardships. Basically, I am like bumpers in bowling. I help adolescents and adults explore ways to work through life’s challenges, set healthy boundaries, create kindness within themselves, and improve their connection with themselves and others.

I strive to create a safe, authentic, and accepting atmosphere where my clients can explore and share their stories and struggles. I use a collaborative approach, where together we will identify needs and challenges to create goals for therapy. Using a variety of interventions including humor, we will work together to heal from hurt and shame, create and employ coping techniques, and manage life with more ease. While I work with several issues, my jam is working with clients that are dealing with high levels of anxiety, working through life transitions, and struggling self-esteem.

  • Anxiety Tamer

Anxiety is the worst. I get that. I work with clients to learn skills and techniques to manage their anxiety, so it does not feel like the anxiety is running their lives. I also help clients to gain insight into the driving fear, shame, or guilt that might be fueling the anxiety. This allows us to create a plan to not only manage the symptoms but learn how manage it long term.

  • Personal Guide

Life is stressful, scary, sad, overwhelming, joyful, fun, peaceful and basically everything else in between. My goal is to provide the space, support, and empathy to help clients manage through the ups and downs of it and to feel more confident while doing it. I work to help support clients in who they want to be or get to where they want to go. I also help clients overcome obstacles that they face and find more contentment in their lives.

  • Self Esteem

We all deserve to feel good about ourselves, and to be honest, that is not always easy. I work with clients to notice, address, and change the narrative of their inner voice. You deserve to be nice to yourself, and recognize your worth and value.

  • More About Me

When I am not working, you will most likely find me traveling. I love to travel and experience different places, foods, and cultures. I also spend time reading thrillers, listening to podcast, and spending time with my significant other and family. I also secretly (or not so secretly) have a huge Entrepreneurial spirit, so I have a solid 10 business ideas always floating around in my head!

“To live is the rarest thing in the world. Most people exist, that is all.”
